This guide explains how to move your data from the Ftax SA100 PDF form to the SA100 Web form. It is broken down into the following steps:
Go to your dashboard and in the Web forms table on your home page, click 'start new':
Click 'Select Existing Client' and choose the client:
Click 'CREDIT' and the client's credit will be applied to the Web form:
Click 'Edit Form':
Click 'Import' from the left hand vertical menu bar:
Choose the source of your data. You can import from a submitted form or from an export to Ftax account:
Check that the data has imported correctly and save the submission:
Go back to the overvew and click 'Calculate':
You can now do a test submission, create a PDF copy and submit the return as new or as an amendment.
To amend the Web form, just go back to Edit, make your changes and save again. Don't forget to Calculate again before you submit. Tick the 'Submit as Amendment' check box before you submit.
IMPORTANT: Do not submit an Amended return if you have not previously submitted as 'New'. You will receive an acknowledgement from HMRC but your data will not be recorded and your submission will not succeed.
Please note: whilst you can update your Web form from a PDF form, it's not possible to reflect changes back from Web form to PDF. Any data you add to the Web form will not be visible in the PDF form.
