If you have purchased a credit for an Ftax form, you can download as often as you wish during the period for which the form is valid at no extra cost. Before submitting a support ticket, please remember to download the latest version of the form from our website, you may find that your problem has already been solved.
The latest version number of each form is displayed on the support page of the Ftax website:
You can check your form's version number by opening the form with Adobe Reader and looking at the bottom lefthand corner of the opening page:
To download a new version of a form, go to the Ftax website, log in, click 'download' on the appropriate form and save it in a known location:
To transfer data to the new form, log in to your Ftax account, open the old form. click 'Export' and choose the 'Export data to xfdf file to save the data from the old form to a known location on your own computer:
Having downloaded the new form, open it, fill in the Username, Password and UTR, then click 'Import' and choose 'Import data from xfdf file' to retrieve the data from the old form:
Please note that a submission made from the old form would also mean that data had been automatically saved to the Ftax servers and could subsequently be uploaded to a new form. Any amendments made since the submission however, would NOT be saved so it is safer to use the 'Export data to xfdf file feature if in any doubt.
